The Road to the Josie Awards: Music, Nashville, and the Great Outdoors - October 2024
As the journey continues, it was time to head to Nashville for the Josie Music Awards, where I was honored to be a finalist for Male Artist of the Year, Album of the Year for MORE, and Male Songwriter of the Year. Being recognized among so many talented independent artists is always a privilege, and this year’s event was one to remember.
But this trip wasn’t just about the awards—it was about experiencing Music City with Debbie, soaking in the history, the energy, and of course, the music. We took the time to explore, visit iconic spots, and truly enjoy everything that makes Nashville such a special place.
After the red carpet and celebration, we traded city lights for mountain trails, heading into the Smoky Mountains for some much-needed time in nature. There’s nothing like the peace and perspective that comes from hiking through the mountains, surrounded by breathtaking views and fresh air.
This trip was truly unforgettable—from the excitement of the Josie Awards to the beauty of the Smokies. The journey just keeps getting better!
