Colorado Adventures: A Trip to Remember

Colorado has a way of delivering adventure at every turn — and this trip gave me all of it.

Gondola to the Top of Vail & Hike Down

We started with a ride up the gondola to the summit of Vail, where the views stretched endlessly across the Rockies. Instead of riding back down, we hiked five miles down the mountain — a journey filled with crisp air, golden aspens, and winding alpine trails that made every step worthwhile.

Hiking the Rockies

The trails throughout Colorado were alive with color. Golden aspens, rugged paths, and stunning overlooks reminded me of the raw beauty tucked into every corner of the Rockies.

Off-Roading & Old Trail Ridge Road

From rugged backcountry trails to the legendary climb up Old Trail Ridge Road, this was Colorado at its best. Off-roading delivered adrenaline and grit, while the drive through Rocky Mountain National Park offered jaw-dropping vistas, wildlife sightings, and that surreal feeling of standing on the roof of the world.

Zip Lining Above the Trees

Soaring across the mountains on a zip line was unforgettable. The crisp air, the wide-open views, and the rush of speed made it a highlight of the trip.

White Water Rafting

Cold spray, roaring rapids, and plenty of laughter — rafting through a canyon brought the perfect mix of challenge and fun.

Game Time at Bob’s Place

After all that adventure, nothing beat kicking back with good food, a cold drink, and some football at Bob’s Place. The perfect ending to a perfect day.

Colorado gave me adventure, beauty, and memories I’ll carry for a long time. Until next time, I’ll be dreaming of those mountains.
