From Canyons to Kickoff: Our Ultimate Adventure in Zion, Bryce, and Vegas

There’s nothing like hitting the open road with Debbie, heading west toward Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, and a Raiders game in Las Vegas.

Zion National Park: A World of Wonder

Zion’s towering cliffs and winding canyons instantly humble you. We explored the Emerald Pools, a beautiful series of waterfalls and lush scenery, and waded through the Narrows, an otherworldly river hike surrounded by towering rock walls.

Bryce Canyon: Hoodoos and Sunset Views

Bryce Canyon’s hoodoos—wild, spire-like rock formations—glowed in the morning light as we hiked the Queen’s Garden and Navajo Loop. The high-altitude air and ever-changing scenery made every step worth it. Sunset at Bryce Point was pure magic.

Red Rock Canyon: Horseback Riding Adventure

We took in the beauty of Red Rock Canyon on horseback, riding through the rugged desert terrain surrounded by striking red sandstone cliffs. The quiet solitude of the canyon, paired with the rhythmic pace of the horses, made for an unforgettable experience.

Peek-a-Boo Slot Canyon: A Hidden Gem

Hiking through Peek-a-Boo Slot Canyon was like stepping into another world. The narrow passageways, sculpted by time and water, twisted and turned in mesmerizing patterns. The soft glow of sunlight filtering through the high canyon walls added to the surreal atmosphere.

Raiders Game in Las Vegas: A Wild Finish

After days of exploring, we switched gears for game day at Allegiant Stadium. The electric energy, roaring crowd, and thrilling game made for the perfect finale. A bit of Vegas nightlife rounded out the adventure.

The Journey Just Keeps Getting Better

From serene canyons to stadium lights, this trip had it all. Every adventure with Debbie reminds me how much there is to experience and appreciate. Until the next one!
